Comments: I visited Dr. Kowalsky at ONS after receiving terrible care and undergoing a poorly performed surgery with another orthopedic surgeon. I was very dejected and uncertain if I could ever make a full recovery from my torn bicep tendon after months of incorrect treatment, but am so happy with the work that Dr. Kowalsky and the entire ONS team did.
Dr. Kowalsky did a great job explaining what my options were and what the road to recovery looked like. He walked me through my MRI and lab results to show me what he saw and recommend a clear course of action. When there seemed to be a lack of availability to start physical therapy after my surgery, Dr. Kowalsky went out of his way to make sure I was able to get an appointment and start on time. After several months, my arm is almost back to full strength and I have little hesitation about performing all the tasks I was able to do prior to the injury.
Having gone to two orthopedic surgeons in the Greenwich/Stamford area for the same injury, I cannot give a high enough recommendation for the work Dr. Kowalsky and ONS did. I would recommend him to anyone in the area.
